This painting of the beautiful Marloes Sands in Pembrokeshire was a private commission and having completed two other paintings of this spectacular scenery, this oil painting was taken from a different viewpoint that featured Skokholm Island and Gateholm Island in the distance.
This impressive and dramatic location includes angular cliff formations and rock outcrops that punctuate the sandy beach. This is a scene that captures a unique place in its glory.
