Perched on the cliff edge near St. Agnes, the dramatic ruins of the structures of the old tin mines off Cornwall’s north coast.
This is such a spectacular location that I felt I had to create a painting that captured the true spirit of the place. The crashing waves against the rugged rocks create such a vivid and dramatic scene for a painting. The large format canvas provided the platform to create a strong and breathtaking painting emphasising the incredible force of nature.
