This is a slightly different take to what I normally paint. It is more vibrant and the contrasting colours are more intense. From time to time, a painting needs to capture a more realistic approach to reflect the subject matter and the styling has to express that. It was a joy to paint and in this instance, the subject matter dictated the technique I had to apply.
