A predominately sandy beach with rocky areas exposed at high tide, Dunraven Bay is located along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and is enclosed by spectacular cliffs. I looked to create a dramatic coastal scene and with my style of painting, the palette knife provided the scope to add the layers of texture and atmosphere to the painting.
