This painting of Pen y Fan had been on my list of ‘to-do’ for some time and eventually, in between a range of other activities, I found the time to paint this popular mountain walk. Pen y Fan is one of the most popular peaks in the Brecon Beacons National Park and when weather permits, one can enjoy views of the town of Brecon and on a really good day, the summit of Cadair Idris.
