This is a painting that involved a lot of patience! To capture the dramatic scene of a storm brewing along this famous coastline, I virtually had to build up the layers of paint with a palette knife and allow a few days in between sessions to allow the paint to harden a little for the next coating to adhere to it – creating the effect I wanted to achieve.
