A slight deviation from my familiar seascape painting, this scene features three old vintage boats seemingly resting on the shoreline. It presents a setting that reflects the hard life these abandoned vessels must have faced in all weathers at one time and I was keen to try and capture the haggard and sombre appearance of these old, decaying fishing boats.
